Scholarships

The Central Plateau Vet Society Inc is offering a student scholarship to study Veterinary Science or an Agricultural related degree at either Massey or Lincoln University.

The scholarship shall be available to students attending either Taupo, Reporoa or Turangi area Colleges, or are family members of the Central Plateau Vet Society Inc members. 

Existing university students who met the above criteria may also apply.

A scholarship of $4000, or such sum that can be amended from time to time, will be awarded to the successful applicant, who may reapply in the following years.

The recipient must maintain a minimum B- average academic record annually in the intended degree for the scholarship to continue.

The scholarship will be paid directly to the university towards tuition fees.  (Copy of fees invoice is required).

Applications will be considered by a selection panel appointed by the Central Plateau Vet Society Inc. directors.

The selection panel may refrain from making an award if there is not an applicant of sufficient merit.

The panel’s decision is final and not open to appeal or further correspondence.

Applications close: Friday 17th October 2014

Applicants will be notified early December 2014.
